A four-week plan for Digital Product Manager interviews

What to prepare, in what order, so your stories and product sense hold up under pressure.

Week 1 — inventory your evidence

Before practising answers, list every project you have shipped or influenced, with the problem, your specific contribution, and the measurable result. Most candidates undersell because they never wrote this down.

Week 2 — product sense out loud

Product sense is judged on structure, not creativity. Practise the same loop every time: clarify the goal, pick a user segment, name their top jobs, generate three solutions, choose one, and state how you would measure it.

Week 3 — execution and metrics

Expect a metric to drop and be asked what you would do. Rehearse a diagnosis path: is it measurement, seasonality, a segment, a release, or a real behaviour change? Say the path out loud before jumping to a cause.

Week 4 — pressure and polish

Run two mock interviews with someone who will interrupt you, then tighten your three strongest stories to ninety seconds each. Finish by preparing questions that show you understand the company's product bets.

Next step

Stop reading about product. Start building it.

The difference between knowing the theory and doing the work is doing the work. Every course here is built around real scenarios, real deliverables, and real feedback — so you leave with proof, not just notes.
